July 6th Kelseyville, CA Konocti Harbor I was sitting front row, center stage of the concert at Konocti Harbor. It was the most awesome concert ever. Meat put on such a great show. He has so much energy. He sang all of his great songs and he looked HOT!! It is so wonderful to see a performer be so fan oriented and Meat is definitely fan oriented. Meat, come back to Northern California, soon, please!!! Niki E.

July 17th Merriville, Indiana Star Plaza Theatre Okay first ley me start off by saying it took me three yrs to see meatloaf in concert but it was worth the wait.. three yrs ago i had tickets to see him in dayton ohio on his vh1 storytellers tour but i never got to see him perform there for reason beyond his control.. but like i said it was worth the wait.. in merriville indiana he rocked the roof of the place.. To start things out he let members of his band warm us the crowd up with a few songs... then he had a short intermission.... then he came out and the crowd went wild chatting and screaming """"MEAT.......""" over and over .. he just walked around on the stage like he couldnt believe it,... (like what else would he think would happen... OH,,, there was a drum in the middle of the stage and he stopped by it picked up some sticks hanging off of it and went to strike teh drum.. but held back..and then let it go.. when he hit it the lights went off and back on.. he did this a couple of times once even faking the light tech heheheheh..that was cool ..then the last time he grab the mic and start sing .. "I WANT MY MONEY BACK... and there the crowd went crazy.... on our feet for the whole show.. But then he went on to do something i liked alot he song the song... "MERCUY MAN"..that was a cool song to see him see..hope to see him sing more songs like that.. Then he song a couple of other new ones..and then he jumped right into thge songs we all know and LOVE him for... i could go one for hours and tell u about the concert but ill just highlight some points that i thought where cool... okay the biggest point of teh night was when wes asked his girl friend COOKIE to marry him..yeap right there at teh concert and you know meet he has to make them do it all over in front of around 3,400 people ..now that was cool and then u dedicated 2 out of 3 aint bad to them.. now thats a performer.. Another part of the concert is when he told the peopel up in the topper section of the room that they better start singing or he was going to send u the people from down stairs up there to kick their ASS"S... (cause everyone was singing but them up there... but then u have PEARL.. "OH MY GOD",... like i have told everyone since the concert she has what it takes to be in this business... Meat ...had her do a song by herself and the lady has it all looks .. very much pretty and sexy.. and appeal..and character.. (but look who her father is hum u think?).. and she can hold a note.. again could come from her dad.. ... but anything watch out for her if she goes on her own.. I KNOW I WOULD BE THERE IN THE CROWD.. well people and BAT FANS.. like i said this was my first concert and i really ejoyed it ..and i will be back for more this concert was liek 3 1/2 hours and after it i was soaked and sweaty i was sweating my ASS off but it was worth it.. ONE LAST THING ..U KEEP MAKING ABLUMS MEAT LOAF...AND YOU KEEP TOURING AND U WILL KEEP BUYING AND GOING TO YOUR CONCERT... DONT QUIT ...WE LOVE UR MUSIC AND U..."TILL THE END OF TIME" Joey C.

July 18th Sarnia, ON Sports Centre It's been two years since my wife and I saw Meat in concert and we had a wonderful time! Thanks, in part, to our new fan club seats in the front row area! And this time we took our daughters (12 & 9), also Meat fans! While they did not appreciate Meat's language, both my wife and I were glad he acknowledged the fact that there were kids in the audience and to "not talk like I do on stage...except in school...who'll know!" Funny...and unfortunately, true! Such a wide age range in the audience...kids to seniors...never seen anything like it in the tour business which is usually very segmented! Tim D.

July 18th Sarnia, ON Sports Centre All I can say is that I still under his spell from last nights concert. I drove 8 hours to get to Sarnia and it was well worth it. Kasim and Patti opened with some great songs. And the arena was about half full when they started (2000 people). BUt when Meat entered the stage, I looked behind me saw the place was packed. THen several people got up and went to the stage, so I pushed my way up to the stage. Meat ripped into Lifen is Lemon with as much fury as ever. Than into Eddie Cochranes "Crazy Bout A Mercury". Than his vocal range got better and better, and by Anything for Love, Meat was singing as good as he did 25 years ago! Than 90 minutes later Meat and the band got into a storytellers atmosphere and John Golden and Pearl did solos. Meat finshed off with a stunning version of Bat Out Of Hell. I also had the privilage to meet the extremely talented Kasim Sulton and Patti Russo. Then after the show, I met with Mark and John Golden. John and I talked about the album he last played with Meat on and wrote with ML "Blind Before I Stop". He was impressed that I remembered. PS> Paridise was hilarious! Ted L.

July 15th Rapid City, SD Rushmore Plaza Civic Ctr. I had never seen Meat before, but have loved his music for a very long time. To see him perform live was an experience I will always remember. I have read many of the other concert reviews, but had to add my own words as a tribute to this amazing man. I have gone to quite a few concerts in my time, but this was my favorite by far. For three hours, my fellow South Dakotans and I were captivated and spellbound. Since I am a baby boomer, I felt young again and was on my feet for three hours! I felt sorry for anybody who wasn't there. I have tried to identify why this concert was more outstanding than any other, and my friend helped me name it. Meat is the consummate performer, and he does more than sing. He is acting, performing and projecting the entire time he is on the stage. His concert is interactive because the entire audience is right there with him all the way--he draws everyone in and I suspect any non Meat fans that may have attended would have been converts before the evening ended. I especially got a kick out of the female-male "sides" during Paradise. I also appreciated all that this special man gives to the audience. I can tell that he gives his all whenever he performs and so no audience will ever feel short changed. What a gift for all of us who love his music and his voice and his persona. I hope he comes back to South Dakota, but I now know I am willing to travel and spend more to have another evening like I did on July 15. Thanks to anyone who had any part in it! Annamae

July 17th Merriville, IN Star Plaza Simply Awesome!! I wanted more! He performed for 2 straight hours, and the energy at the end of the show, was the same as the beginning. This was the first time I ever had a chance to see him, and he was greater than I thought he be. can't wait for a chance to see him again and again. bonnue

July 17th Merriville, IN Star Plaza I attended the concert last night and I have to see it was the best I have been at so far. Meat Loaf and Friends gave a 5 star performance. Can't wait to see them again! Kalah

July 15th Rapid City, SD Rushmore Plaza Civic Ctr. Best concert I had been to in a long time. Great show and I enjoyed myself. Janet S.

July 4th Las Vegas, NV Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino I just returned from an awesome trip to Vegas. I must say that the highlight had to be the Meat Loaf concert. I haven't seen him live since I was a kid going with my parents. The show was great. It took place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino at the Beach. It was like nothing I had ever experienced. People were laying on towels in the sand drinking and standing in the water in swimwear. I must say...I have never worn a bikini to a concert, but it seemed to go right along with the whole atmosphere. Awesome show Meat Loaf! So now you guys need to come down south on the east coast... Nathalie

7/11/02 Walker Minnesota Moon Dance Ranch Jam WHAT A SHOW-great music-Meat Loaf out did himself and for fans like myself-this was heaven. THANKS MEAT LOAF-I hope he comes back next year. All I can say is what a concert!!! I was thrilled to see my hero sing on stage and do 90% of his hits, one or two that I did not know and of course some of his good old stand byes. One thing I enjoyed was when he played the crowed it was great, he yelled at them, he got them to sing, he got them to boo him, it was fun. He played for almost 2 hours, starting at 11:15pm and then going almost to 1:30am. Her never stopped and never let up. I hope he comes back next year as I will be there once more. Thanks Meat for coming to the Northwoods and playing some good old rock and roll. Randy C.

July 6th Kelseyville, CA Konocti Field Amph. I just got back from seeing Meat Loaf. He played at Konocti Harbor and Resort in Kelseyville, CA on July 6th. I have to say that it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Meat Loaf seems to have an awesome time on stage and is a GREAT performer. He joked, he played, he rocked. I couldn't ask for anything more except one thing...COME BACK TO THE WEST COAST MORE DAMNIT!!!! Oh yeah and...'His name is Robert Paulson' Michael G Sacramanto, CA USA -

July 6th Kelseyville, CA Konocti Field Amph. I attended the Meat Loaf concert at Konocti Harbor in Kelseyville, CA last night!!!!!! It was an awesome experience. I had seen him in concert 25 years ago and about the only thing that had changed was the length of his hair...and a couple of the songs. :) Kelseyville is in Northern California, but is smack dab in the middle of nowhere...and that is the truth. To get to anywhere from there is about an hour and a half ride. But it does have it's advantages, especially if you want to get away from everything, which I did! I need to tell you about the theater as it plays a humorous part later on in my review. The concert was held in an amphitheater which backs up to a lake. To give you the complete picture, Meat and the band were facing away from the water while we, the audience faced the water. There was no back on the stage so if you looked passed the band and equipment, you would see the water. We had awesome seats. We were just to the right of the stage and about 20-25 feet from the stage. I went with one of my good friends who lives in the area. I ended up sitting next to a fellow loafdom fan (Hi Kathy) and her brother. Cool, huh? As the concert was getting ready to start, I looked up on stage and behind some of the equipment, there stood Meat Loaf. He was watching the crowd. I yelled out and waved to him. He smiled and waved back. He then turned around and walked back out of sight. The concert started at 6:30ish with two local guys who played for about 45 minutes. They were really pretty good considering there was only the two of them. There was a 10-15 minute break and then Patti came on and sang three songs. The band and some crew members then came on stage and started looking behind us. Of course, the audience followed suit and turned around. But I kept watching the stage. And here came the man...drumstick in hand. He stood there for sometime. I (again) yelled out along with some others that saw him and then everyone turned back around and went nuts. As previously mentioned in one of the reviews given by another fan, he did not say a word. He just walked back and forth across the stage. The entire audience was on their feet, yelling and screaming. He then started beating on whatever drum he was next to as he walked back and forth across the stage. When he was done playing a certain drum he would then throw the drumstick out into the audience. It was mayhem in the audience when he did that. At one point he asked that the security staff move so that they were not up against the railing that separated us from the stage. We never did figure out why. Security just moved to the section behind us. Security would not let us go up and take any close up pictures. Believe me, I tried. I hope the ones I took turned out. I will share them if they do. He had a great interaction with the crowd and it seemed like whenever people started sitting down, he would get us going and we would once again be on our feet. Remember, when I mentioned the lake earlier? Here is where it causes a scene. Meat starts singing Paradise "Well, I remember everything as if it happened only yesterday, parking by the lake, there was not another..." He then signaled for the band to stop. They did not even know why he had stopped them. He laughed and said that this was the first concert that he had sung Paradise at, where he was actually right next to a lake. He then turned and looked out at the audience and said "You do know there is a lake right out there, don't you?". He walked over to the side and back of the stage, points out over the lake and said, "There is a fuckin lake there! I just can't believe it. In all these years, this is the first time I have actually sung this song right next to a lake" He got a big kick out of it...along with the rest of us! He then started the band back up. Later in the concert as he was getting ready for the Storytellers set, he turned to us and said "Did you know that you have some bugs up here, because I just ate one? In fact it was a moth. Opened my mouth to sing and in it went. Kinda dry though. Coats the throat if you know what I mean?" He then grabbed his Gatorade and took a huge drink. I wasn't really watching but my friend said that he only drank the Gatorade and water. Meanwhile the rest of the band was having a party with the beer and tequila (?) They were having fun, that was for sure. He did mention Jim Steinman once during the Storytellers set. It was in regard to Jim writing 2 out of 3. Meat said he is the one who came up with the "suggestion" for the song, but I read in a couple other interviews where someone else actually brought this suggestion up to Jim. I turned to my friend and said, well, maybe that is why this is called Storytellers. He also mentioned again that it really was the first time he had sung Paradise next to a lake. He seemed to get quite a chuckle out of it. All in all, the band played for 2 1/2 hours. His voice sounded great. The band was awesome. The only question I had was regarding the piano that they were using, is this the same piano that I saw Jim use in one of the videos/shows that I have seen? It was red with a flame painted down the side. (anyone?) All in all, it was a great show and it looked like a packed house. It took us over an hour to get out of there - and remember, this is in the middle of nowhere :) Final thought: It was an awesome show but I still miss the long hair!!

July 2nd Denver, CO City Lights Pavillion What an incredible show!!!! I cannot imagine how he could have ever been any better in concert than he was last night .... hard to believe he is not still in his 20s ... the energy was there, the humor, the incredible voice, and 2 hours non-stop ... ending with the most awesome version of Bat outta hell you could ever imagine. Wow, I have to see him again before this tour ends ... maybe even more than once. Ken

July 2nd Denver, CO City Lights Pavillion After 25 years of waiting I finally get to see Meat Loaf on stage and it was sooooo worth it. He did not disappoint. I got the call from the fan club yesterday morning reminding me to bring my ID and to be there at the box office 2 hours before showtime. The show was to start at 7:30 but I got there at 4:00, half an hour before the box office opened. When I got there you could hear them rehursing inside, Meat's voice coming through crystal clear on "Crazy 'Bout A Mercury". Of course, the box office had no clue as to what was going on with the meet & greet so we could only wait. Finally I went back up to the window and the lacy told me to check with one of the security people inside the gate. He told me that he'd been informed that we were supposed to meet at the VIP gate. So the 3 of us that were there went around to the VIP gate to waite. About 7:00 the lady at the gate asked us what we were waiting for and when we told her, she double checked & said that we were supposed to wait at the VIP gate on the inside. By now there were half a dozen of us so we all went over to the main gate, went in and went down to the VIP entrance inside. We didn't have the backstage passes due to the confusion but the lady there verified my ID and we all went in. We all went back to a little platform under a shade and as we went over there who should we see but the man himself about 50 feet away watching us and talking to some people there. Kasim was outside too talking to someone on his cell phone and waived to us. Pearl came out at one point too but didn't come over to where we were. Meat started to come in our direction but then went in a door. We were bummed at that point. He came back out then went back in another door. Just to tease us. Finally he came out and walked over to us. He said hello and all of us in unison responded with a big hello to him. There was a lady next to me that had a beautiful airbrushed Bat Out Of Hell t-shirt on that he had signed once for her. She had forgotten a sharpie to have him sign her album so he had to borrow one from someone else there. He used it to sign for everybody and I'd be willing to bet that sharpie never gets used again. I was second in line and I swear I almost melted when he put his arm around me. I gave him the Superman pic to keep and my book to sign ("Love Meat Loaf"). I told him that I was going to bring him a birthday card from the Dept of HMD but I totally forgot to bring it. He said that it was ok because he really didn't want to be reminded that it was coming up. Then he pulled me next to him for a picture and someone there got one for me with my camera. Then he went through everyone else, signing autographs & taking pictures. Just before he left I told him hello for Vee. Then gave him a hug from her and a kiss from me. (I can still feel his whiskers on the lips.) We all thanked him for spending some time with us and then he was gone. I've been to several meet & greets and he was just a wonderful man. Very kind, sweet, endearing . . . That was worth the price I pade for my ticket right there. When I went back to the main area I asked someone about getting the backstage pass. I know I'd already been back but I wanted the souvenir. He sent me up to talk to one of the guest relations people who took me out to the box office again where lo and behold there was my backstage pass . . . and a surprise. My seat was in row 25 of section B on one side. In the envelope with my pass was a comp ticket for row 7 center stage!!! I was so stunned I could barely speak and almost cried! A friend of mine who I saw working security asked me how I got so lucky because he couldn't believe it. I just told him the Rock & Roll gods must be smiling on me. Kasim started things off with 3 solo songs. Then after he left the stage the rest of the band came out and Patty came on to do 3 songs. After that was done they left the stage and one lone man came out carrying a single drumstick - the man himself. What was so cool was that as he came out and crossed the stage the whole crowd stood up in a wave and gave him a standing ovation - without him even ever singing a note. It was an emotional moment and you could see it in his eyes. It's a little hard to explain how he brought out the band but lets just say that it was appropriate considering his theatrical background. They started out with "Life Is A Lemon" and followed it with "Crazy 'Bout A Mercury". Now Meat & Alan Jackson are 2 very different people but Meat wasn't that bad. They then did "Lawyers, Guns & Money" and "Tear Me Down". I thought someone had said that this song would be on the new album and if this song is any indication of the album it's going to be a fantastic album. After they did "Paradise . . ." they pulled out the stools to do a segment in Storytellers style. They did "Mony, Mony" (John took lead vocals on this one) and "Honky Tonk Woman" (Kasim & Patty took vocals on it). Then Meat introduced Pearl saying that the only one who hadn't done a solo was his daughter. Pearl did a real blusey song and I was really impressed with it. She has a real talent and beautiful voice. They finished the night with "Bat Out Of Hell". Most of the night the crowd was on it's feet and going nuts by the end. Meat played to the crowd and played with them and and we all loved it. He was just awesome. Unfortunately, Denver has this ordinance that concerts have to end by 10 PM or there are fines involved so there was no encore but then he was on stage for a good 2 hours. It was definately an experience I will never forget. Expecially getting the chance to meet him. Set list from Denver - Kasim - 3 songs Patty - 3 songs "Life Is A Lemon" "Crazy 'Bout A Mercury" "Lawyers, Guns & Money" "Tear Me Down" "All Revved Up And No Place To Go" "I Would Do Anything For Love" "Rock & Roll Dreams" "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" "Two Out Of Three" "Mony, Mony" "Honky Tonk Woman" Pearl's song (missed the title) "You Took The Words Right OUt Of My Mouth" "Bat Out Of Hell" Brenda - aka Lady B BRENDA'S PICTURES

June 29th Biloxi, MS Beau Rivage Casino I got the wonderful opportunity to see Meat Loaf in Biloxi, Mississippi, June 29th. I have attached several pix. Hope you like them! :-) C B. Tabereaux, Ph.D.

June 29th Biloxi, MS Beau Rivage Casino This was by far one of the best concerts I have ever attended. I have been a huge fan for about 15 years. When I saw the concert announcement, I screamed. I immediately ran to the phone and ordered tickets. It was fantastic. He was all I could have asked for. He performed his songs with heart and soul. I was on the edge of my seat and did not stop grinning for hours. It was amazing and I had a blast. I can't say enough. Patti was awesome and they go so well together. I could have listened to her all night as well. Pearl was awesome and did a fantastic number herself. Kasim was great. It really was a fantasitc evening. I am a bigger fan that I ever was, and I can't wait to see him again. I will be the first in line to purchase Testify. Thanks for a terrific show. Tracy

June 29th Biloxi, MS Beau Rivage Casino Meatloaf and friends just having fun summer tour Kasim Sultin opened the show with some awesome songs he did by himself. Patricia Russo then took the stage and gave an energetic and very exciting show. They got us ready for 2 hours of fun! Meatloaf came out and everybody went crazy! ! He was extremely energetic and comical at times. They (meat and his band) made sure every single person at the concert had a blast. It is the best concert I have ever seen ! By the end of the concert, which started at 8pm and ended at 11 pm, everybody was standing and singing with meat and the band. Pearl did a solo right at the end of the night. During her solo it was so quiet. She did absolutely wonderful. This CONCERT ROCKED THE HOUSE ALL THE WAY A ROUND. Renee' Lee"

June 28th Robinsonville, MS Horseshoe Casino - "Bluesville" Great concert, Kasim Sulton sang two of his songs and patti sang two of her songs. meat loaf sang every song that i love to listen to. He sang i'd do anything for love, Rock in roll dreams come through, i want my money back, two outta three ain't bad, paradise by the dashboard light, all revved up and Bat out of hell. He also sang lawyer's gun's and money and one other song. and then they sang the song Money Money. this is the second concert that i have been to of Meat's and this one was probably the best because i was close to the stage. i am so glad that he performed friday night at the Horseshoe casino because this past month of June was a very sad month for me and seeing his concert made my day and made my weekend. Thanks meat for playing at Horseshoe casino for a second showing. Thanks, Alison J

June 28th Robinsonville, MS Horseshoe Casino - "Bluesville" The boy rocked! That concert was two of the best hours I've spent in my life. I've been waiting to see Meat for 3 years (since the obsession began - too many years of graduate school). I spent the evening up front, center stage. It was quite a cheap thrill to reach out and touch him which I got to do several times. (Me and about 100 other horney, middle aged women.) It was somewhat surreal seeing him that close for that long. He looks like such an ordinary guy. It was a jarring reminder of how thin the line between fantasy and reality can be. But for 2 hours I got to suspend reality and hang out with the man who is my god. I wasn't the only one. From my vantage point it sounded like every one knew every word to every song. You couldn't hear the band at times. There were a few moments when the crowd sang along so loud and strong and Meat took a moment to just listen to us and bask in our adulation. He seemed to be having fun. The show was great, everyone in the band was great, and I can't wait to do it again!!! Rock and roll dreams come through! Dr. Sherri L.

June 27th Robinsonville, MS Horseshoe Casino - "Bluesville" I got the pictures back from our trip to see Meat. The bad thing was that I did not get any pictures of meat Loaf and myself. I just got pictures of Meat Loaf and my daughter Emily. Anyway, I had a heck of a time on this trip that I will not go into at this point. But we did enjoy meeting meat Loaf and he was extremely nice. He signed a shirt and a CD for us and unlike people may think, he was really down-to-earth. Even though my daughter did not have a meet and greet pass, when I told him my daughter was too young to come to the concert, he told some of his people to go get her and bring her back to see him. What a great guy! My daughter will always remember that day. And as my daughter said, I will no longer be able to be in charge of the camera. What a wonderful experience for my daughter and myself. Thanks Barry T

June 27th Robinsonville, MS Horseshoe Casino - "Bluesville" It was WONDERFUL! Mary got her picture taken dancing with Meat! The concert was great but the Meet & Greet was the highlight of the evening. I can't thank you enough for going the extra effort to make that happen. Thanks Again, Tom ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meeting Meat Loaf was just wonderful, he was so gracious and friendly. His photographer there took a picture of us together. Hey I only waited 24 years to meet him. Great Great concert. We liked that he doesn't do an encore, by that time we were asking what was left to sing because he had sang all the big hits. What a voice, he had sung the night before in Chicago and had another concert the next night, but still can sing like its his only night. The crowd was great, everyone there is a fan and that's why they were there. Most we like us, they had driven in especially to see Meat Loaf. I still have his Bat out of Hell album. I wish that I had thought to bring it along for him to sign, now that would be a collector's item. Thank you Mary B., Franklin TN

June 24th Chicago, Il House Of Blues This was the first concert that I was able to attend. I would find out that he was here, but gone now. I took my son with me (mainly so that he would do the driving for me). We also had a room at the House Of Blues Hotel. Our day started out at 1:00 arrival. Check in time is 3:00. But we went in and was able to get our room right then. Went up to our room, which was great. My son only took one picture of each of the above band members. Petey, loaned us her camera, so he could take a picture of Patti and me. So I don't know if that one will be shown or not. But here are mine. At 4:00 we went over to HOB Concert Hall, and had dinner at their resterant. Went back to our room. At 6:30 went back down to get our tickets. Went upstairs. At 7:00 went to the concert. Since I was in a wheel chair, they took us up to the second balcany, right at the edge. The view was great. I met Petey there. We were both com- plaining that we were not allowed down stairs for our safety. Kasim came out and started talking. Some idot asked who he was. Come on. Anyone who knows and loves Meat would know Kasim!! Give me a break. He held his own, and then sang his songs. Next Patti, oh the beautiful Patti. And her voice aint bad to the ears either. She sang her songs. Then Meat comes strolling up to the mike, then says naw, and leaves. We all cheer for him to come back. He's milking us for 4 or 5 times. Then he starts to sing. Another great voice. What a charming man. At 54 yrs., he still has it. He had a asthma attack and took a hit off of some- ones inhailer up front. I wish I was there. Some lady got up on the stage and ran up to Meat and planted a big one on him. Finally the security guard found out that she was up there and they escorted her out of the building. After show I met up with Petey, who introduced me to Wezzie. Us two old ladys were having a ball talking about Meat and this lady. We eventually got down stairs and out of the building. A little later here comes Patti. I told her that my 6 yr. old grandson wanted me to ask her if she would marry him when he got bigger. Her comback, "Well, you know I do like them young." Shortly out of another door comes Kasim. He had these two little teenybobbers all over him. Finally I got his attention and he signed my Meat Loaf biography book. We walked across the driveway, to the hotel, and here comes Pearl, and I don't know where he came from but there was Damon. I asked Damon to sign my book and finally I was able to get Pearl's attention. (These same little girls were all over her also. Talked to Patti some more off and on. She went up to her room to change clothes, and came back down. I was cracking up when this older guy was talking to her and he was tongue tied. He goes to leave and Patti puts her hand out to shake his hand good bye, and he just walks away. She looks at me, as I'm looking at her. I finally lost it and started laughing. I said don't you just hate that. Later she said she had to go and change her shoes, for the ones she had on were uncomfortable. My son and I rode the elevator up with her. She got off on the 10th floor and we went up to our 11th floor room. Al in all, all these people were so nice. Starting with Petey, and then Wezzie, to Patti, Pearl, Kasim, to Damon. I had a ball. I wasn't able to get to meet Meat for he wasn't feeling well. Patti told me that he was in bed. I told her that I would be glad to lay in bed with him, (Who wouldn't) a captive audience who wasn't feeling well, laying there, you looking at him. Oh, my dreams that night were XXXX rated. I will never forget this night, and my new friends, and Meat's band members. Mary T.

June 24th Chicago, Il House Of Blues Concertlivewire.com We have a great Meatloaf review and photos at the House of Blues in Chicago on Monday night... To check it out, click here Phil B.

June 24th Chicago, Il House Of Blues One word; Awesome! That's the only word that could describe last night's show! We were treated to Kasim and Patricia kickin' butt on their new songs. Absolutely wonderful! Then, like the rockgod legend that he is, BAMM! Meat takes the stage in glorious Rock and Roll Battle. Like a mythological warrior, he was victorious! Never before have I seen a concert where the performer managed to replace every last bit of air in the room with stardust. With magic in the air, I became one with the universe last night. All Hail to Loafdom! We were seated at the first table next to stage left. It is the best seats we have ever had for any show. And after the $200 dinner we had, we definitely needed to sit down. Getting to meet several of the Fan Club members was a blast! You guys are so sweet and thoughtful, thanks so much for making a special day even more special. Meat's hand was bandaged. During "I Want My Money Back" he made reference about falling down the stairs and requiring seventeen stitches on his back. Having wrestled injured many times, I have even more respect for Meat and the show he put on last night. The show must go on! Thanks, Colonel Perkins

June 24th Chicago, Il House Of Blues First of all we were so lucky to be in the lobby early while the band was practicing as we got the hear "Man Of Steel" which is an awesome song. I was lucky enough to get a greet and meet, Meat came into the room looking "fine as frog's hair split 3 ways"(and trust me that's mighty FINE!) We talked for awhile and PeteyU asked why he was wearing an ace bandage on his hand ,he said he hurt it, so I looked at Janny and then Meat and said "I'm almost afraid to ask how" not knowing what kind of stiry he would come up with. Well his words were "I hurt it playing video games on the bus" Go figure? Back to the concert,Jim & Flo got in ahead of us and saved us a place RIGHT IN FROUNT OF THE STAGE, couldn't belive I was going to watch this at Meat's feet, I'm in heaven. The show was the most awsome thing I have ever seen, Started with Kasim coming out and did 3 songs, which were great, then Patti came out and did 3 songs, NOW here come MEAT!!!did Life's a Lemon with Pearl, Patti, John and himself all beating drums, talk about feeling the music. He was all over the stage singing and sweating on us (like we hated it LOL) Near the end of the concert they all came to the front of the stage sat on stools and Meat started singing 2outta3, well you know how he sing the chorus, and will stop for a second before going on the the next verse, well audience kept singing and he just sat there a second then stood up but we kept singing and he held out the mic to us and let us finished the verse. I must say Meat and the Band ROCKED the House and we ROCKED right back. I'm still on cloud 9. June 20th Mt. Pleasant, MI Soaring Eagle My hubby, has seen Meatloaf 7 times! I've seen him 6 and by far this was the biggest, baddest, and best concert he has done. The acoustics there is no description, awesome, fantastic....... Patti and Pearl, 2 exceptionally talented women! Hope he comes back to Michigan again very, very soon. Keep on rocking! Thanks for a fabulous concert and time. Respectfully & Sincerely, Greer Rizor & Michael Hess ps. I wanted to call Meatloaf, "Eddie", but didn't have the courage (RHPS)

June 19th Orillia, ON Casino Rama Ent. Ctr. Absolutely fabulous night and a great show. First of all we had a major problem getting back stage. They rejected us a number of times from the Casino "Back Stage" group. After many attempts they threw us in with the Casino high rollers, probably just to get us off their case. When we were in the Meet and Greet room a lady from Left Bank approached us and apologized for the problem. She said she had just received our names a little while ago. Anyway - I feel as though I have a very personal relationship with Meat. I have probably been to over 75 of his shows dating back many years. My wife pulled a surprise on me (through you guys) a few years back in Dublin. He took a few pictures with us and pulled me back before I left the room. He gave me a great big hug and genuinely thanked me for coming along. Later in the show he goes into "Storyteller" mode and challenges the audience to stump the band. He went through a big story where they would pay if stumped - but if they knew the song we would pay big. Anyway - He called on me and I asked for "Special Girl" from the Blind before I stop album. He was stumped and sang some crazy opera type song. Then - He announced to everyone "That's Les - He comes to many of my shows - now fuck off Les". That was very very special for me as I know his motive and appreciate the man tremendously. "Special Girl" is the song both of my daughters used to dance with me at their wedding. It's also the song I surprised my wife, best friend and boss Louise with after a long absence in London. The big deal is this. We had arranged for 24 other people to come to the show with us. Included in them were our 3 kids and their spouses, many of the staff from my office and their spouses, close friends and other people who know of my passion. The tire cover on my vehicle has Meat Loaf air brushed onto it (Another surprise from Louise) Les W.
