What does that mean? It means that both Meat and Left Bank Management acknowledge this fan club as being the one and only club capable of representing Meat Loaf totally and without question. While there are many other clubs out there for fans of Meat Loaf...this is the only one he recognizes as his "official" fan club...sanctioned, if you will. Because of that fact, you can be assured that any information you receive is from Meat or his management and that it is as true as absolutely possible in this changing business!! Nothing is printed in the newsletters, or published at the web site, that is not confirmed by Meat and/or his management. Information about members of the Neverland Express is confirmed by the individual members themselves. Everything here is "from the horse's mouth... you can depend on it!!! </blockquote><blockquote> You also have the promise of experience here. The club is coordinated by Gerri Karr of Karr Management, and has been in operation since April of 1994 when "I'd Do Anything For Love" made its debut. The club has gone through highs and lows and has seen it's share of ups and downs, as has Meat himself, and like Meat, the club has come out on top and stronger than ever!! How often have you wished you could get backstage to meet the man when he's doing a concert you're attending? While passes are never guarenteed, and are given out by lottery, whether you are a US fan or an overseas fan, you have the very real chance of obtaining one of these precious passes and meeting Meat!! During the Storyteller's tour an incredibly large percentage of fans that requested Meet and Greet passes were granted them, and were able to meet the man and have items autographed, pictures taken with him, and even get into conversations, as time allowed!!! This possibility alone, for the true Meat Loaf fan, is worth the cost of membership!!!! </blockquote><blockquote> <H3><font face=verdana color=silver> Events<BR><BR> <H4><font face=verdana color=lightyellow> Fan club members are often invited to attend special events involving Meat Loaf. An example of this occured last year, when fan club members in the New York area were invited to attend the taping of the VH-1 special "Hard Rock Live" at the Sony building in New York City. Our fans were given front row seats, and if you watch Meat's episode of Hard Rock Live on VH-1, you see some of our fans over and over!!! Fan club members were also invited to attend the taping of the original "Storyteller's" for VH-1...the show that fathered the incredible concert tour we have all just experienced! </blockquote><blockquote> <H3><font face=verdana color=silver> Fan Club Seating<BR><BR> <H4><font face=verdana color=lightyellow> If it ever becomes difficult to get tickets to a Meat Loaf concert the fan club is able to obtain "fan club seating"...a certian number of seats in the venue are held for fan club members to purchase, even though the concert is announced as "sold out".
