Kelly's STORY

I first really heard Meatloaf when BOOH II came out; I was in the 8th grade. A friend of mine had it, and although I really liked the song, "I Would Do Anything for Love," I was'nt convenced that Meat was really all that great. I don't know why, but a few years ago, (I'm 20 now) I was gripped by that song on the radio again, but it was different. I remember it was about 3:15 in the morning, and I automatically woke up when it came on. It was as if I was meant to hear that wonderful song. I KNEW that I had to buy "BOOH II" the next time I had money to spend. I could'nt get enough of it. Then "BOOH" was next, and by that time I was completely blown away by this incredibly sexy man and powerful voice. "For Crying Out Loud" made the most impact on me, and although I have no emotional story behind it, it makes my soul cry out from the very depths of my body. It alone is a very powerful feeling that makes me cry. I was 100% convenced that Meat was my favorite! singer of all time, when I saw his bio on VH1's Behind the Music. With the exception of a music career, my fiance has gone through EVERY SINGLE thing that Meat has gone through in his life, from an abusive father, to critisicims about is weight as a child, to losing his best job that he's had. To see someone like Meat and my fiance and look at all they have accomplished in such a short time, I marvel at these incredible men in my life. They have both been through literally hell and back, and made such unbelieveable recoveries. And they are all the more humble for it. I just want to thank Meat for giving so many people the inspiration to live, and for seeing the glory in life. As a devout Christian, I firmly believe that God puts us on Earth for a reason. I know that Meat's reason for living is that God saw the intensity in his spirit and fire in his soul. Meat made up the perfect recipe of an earthly angel, and through his music, he has secretly talked to each one of ! us if we chose to listen to his messages. Only a true angel can have such a gift, and our beloved Meatloaf is certainly that. Thank you Meat, for your love and inspiration to all of us, and always know we will always love you.
