MEET MR. LOAFMAN
I only began listening to Meat Loaf in 1993 while
I was driving and heard
the song,
"I'd Do Anything For Love But I Won't Do That."
I had to buy
the song and find out what
he wouldn't do for love and after listening to
it for 20 or more times and really reading the
words, I was hooked! The words were great along
with Meat's terrific passion for singing the song!
Went out and bought the classic "Bat Out Of Hell"
and couldn't believe the
number of great songs on the CD.
Finally, Meat was touring Philadelphia
in 1994 and I went to see him. Absolutely
one of the best concerts I have ever attended.
Bought many more CDs and made cassette
copies for my car
and my friends!
Meat toured Philadelphia again in July 1996
and this time I bought six tickets and took
my family and I allowed each of my children
to bring a
friend. This concert
featured "Where The Rubber Meets The Road"
and other
hits. All of us had a terrific
night at the concert and I still have my
ticket stubs hanging up in my garage.
I am constantly checking the Internet for
Meat Loaf's next tour. I am
glad to
see he will probably be touring in 1999 and
I am ready to travel
and see him in
multiple locations. This is my goal for 1999.
I also created my screen name after Meat Loaf - I
am known as MFLOAFMAN and MF stands for
my actual initials! My friends and family know
that I really am the "LOAFMAN" and am totally
hooked!
My only regret is that I waited until 1993 to tune
into Meat Loaf. All of
those wasted
years are being made up by my devotion to
Meat Loaf's
talents.
Happy New Year and as Meat Loaf always says,
"Don't ever, ever, ever, stop
rocking!"
