Just Havin' Fun For The Summer Tour!!!

This is not the "Testify" tour, as many
seem to think, but simply a "fun" tour for the
duration of the summer because Meat wants to get
out there and see his fans!!!!



Meat Loaf management has reserved a number of tix per
show for fan club member priority seating for Meat's
upcoming summer tour in the US. Management has asked that
we be patient as the details are not figured out yet
but the fact of the tickets is definite. As soon as
they are available, we will know and will post it
here. They will not be available through Ticketmaster
but will only be available through the individual venues.
Fans will need to phone the actual venue box
offices and let them know that they are members and
wish to purchase tix from that reserved bank of tickets.
Limit is 2 tix per member.

Venues will be receiving scanned member lists to verify
if the people that phone in for fan club seating are members.
The system is a good one as it allows the members to phone
in their credit card information to the venue and to confirm
that they have seats.......they can ask where the seats are
and decide whether they want to purchase them or not. It
leaves the transation totally with the customer (fan club
member) and the venue.........which is good! Also, they'll
be available anytime between the date of the on-sale and
about a week or so before the performance so it gives
members more of a chance to purchase them without having
to physically go to the box office on a specific date or
hope that they are there for the date of the concert.

the tour dates are always subject to last 
minute cancellations and changes. While 
these dates are confirmed, and Meat plans 
to be there, one cannot eliminate the rare 
possibility of injury, sickness, or other 
such emergencies...please check with the
venue before traveling long distances to go
to any concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

about "Meet And Greet"...what is a Meet and Greet,
you ask? Simple...it is the way provided by Meat
and his management for fans to Meet and interact
with him before a concert! Need the information?????

	"Meet and Greet" occurs at the venue of a concert.
	Not all venues have the facilities available to have a Meet and Greet, so not all venues have them.
	"Meet and Greet" passes are only offered to Official Fan Club members
	Only one "Meet and Greet" pass per fan club member, when available
	If you are attending more than one concert, you can submit an entry for the lottery for each of the venues you have tickets for. Do this by photocopying the form you received with your newsletter and submit one entry for each venue (very important!!!)
	"Meet and Greet" generally lasts for about a half hour
	The 2002 "Meet and Greet" availability is very slim, so to make it fair to all members, pass winners are being chosen by lottery!
	If you are a fan club member, you should have received your Meet and Greet form to fill out with your most recent fan pack. Canadian fans received theirs separately, but still should have them by now. If you have not received your fan club pack, or you can't find the meet and greet form, please print out the forms provided by the following 2 links and send them in. 	Only Winners of Meet and Greets are notified and that is by e-mail or telephone, so make sure you supply these things!!
	While most "Meet and Greet" information (where to go, what to do), is sent to you by mail or E-mail, "Meet and Greet" information is going to be coming to us even just hours before the venues, so you may be notified by telephone, if it is necessary with last minute changes.
	Please know that our Meet and Greet Coordinator is trying to distribute the passes we get as fairly as possible so that each member has an equal chance at meeting Meat!
